Clementine Bojangles’s CBR-III Review #87: Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

A review of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs can be found at my blog here.  The book was optioned for film before it was even published, so that should give you a sense of what you’re in store for.  Some mystery, some history, and a little bit of the paranormal.  I’ve heard some people compare this to Dr. Xavier’s school for gifted children in the X-Men stories.

It’s uneven at best; pretentious at worst.
